New Citizens Take Oath on July 4th, Draw Sharp Contrasts with Illegals

This is the way it should be done. Welcome to the 300 new U.S. citizens – from 62 different countries – who waited their turn, obeyed the law, and took their rightful oath on July 4th in Phoenix. These are legal immigrants who did it right, and their values draw sharp contrasts with those who came illegally, as well as those who advocate for illegal aliens and amnesty.

Watch the video below and see the Kenyan woman, Vera Onkoba, speaking perfect English, and looking to give back to an America to which she is so thankful…

“I am thankful for the freedom that this country has, especially that which is written into the Constitution….Missionaries came to my country and I became Christian and I wanted to come to a country where you can practice religious freedom,” says Onkoba. “To be able to give back to this country has been a blessing so far.”

Contrast Ms. Onkoba with this very different Kenyan woman – an illegal alien who mooched off taxpayers for years – who thinks America owes her citizenship: Zeituni Onyango, whose Nephew is President Barack Obama

Contrast also her perfect English with illegals who refuse to speak English – even after decades in this nation. Like this amnesty activist from Austin, a citizen, here for 23 years, who refused to speak English at a hearing against the TX Sanctuary Cities bill…

Finally, contrast Ms. Onkoba’s humility and eagerness to give back to America, with the entitled illegals who angrily marched in Atlanta this past Saturday denouncing Georgia’s new law barring employment for illegals…

“They are ready to fight,” said Adelina Nicholls, executive director of the Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights. “We need immigration reform, and no HB87 is going to stop us. We have earned the right to be here.”

No, Ms. Nicholls. Illegal aliens have NOT “earned” the right to be here merely by crossing our border, breaking our laws repeatedly, and taking jobs from American workers. They have “earned” our rightful disdain and enmity, and our determination to deny them employment, and to compel their arrest and deportation whenever possible.

These contrasts make crystal clear which side of this issue is just and fair. And they inspire Stand With Arizona to redouble our efforts every day to fight to restore the rule of law in every state in this nation. How dare we dishonor these LEGAL immigrants by permitting a single illegal alien to remain here, brazenly flout our laws, and unfairly gain employment and welfare – let alone receive amnesty. We cannot. This must not stand. We will prevail.

PLEASE CONSIDER A DONATION of $10.70 to Stand With Arizona in honor of SB1070, to help us continue to fight against illegal alien amnesty and push for Arizona-style enforcement laws nationwide: DONATE link. Thank you.

Tragically, that ignorant, “you owe ME”, mantra, so often heard expressed by ‘ILLEGALS’, is merely a regurgitation of the same thankless rant we so often hear from legal citizens. People who have decided that suckling at the government teat is an acceptable alternative to working and contributing to society. It’s the least we can do for them.
