Stand With Arizona
Sheriff Joe and his deputies conducted a raid on 2 restaurants in Phoenix, arresting 7 illegal aliens at Moreno’s Mexican Grill for identity theft. It was Arpaio’s 53rd such raid.
“Stealing people’s identity is a Class 4 felony, a very serious crime,” Arpaio said. “With the unemployment problem, maybe they will hire legitimate U.S. citizens now to fill the five vacancies here and not hire those in this country illegally.”
Indeed that is what often exactly what happens after an Arpaio raid: jobs are liberated for legal Americans. We call it “Sheriff Joe’s Jobs Program“, and it is far more effective at creating jobs than anything the fools in D.C. can do.

For every illegal with a job, there’s an American without one. Imagine if every county in the U.S. had a Sheriff doing this every day. Our problems with illegal aliens would soon end, and millions of Americans would gain employment – exactly what this nation needs right now.

I agree 100%! I work in the staffing industry & it is near impossible to catch a really good ID. The problem is that business owners don’t have much of any knowledge or training to tell if an ID is legit or not. I remember going through training & being frustrated that there were so many variances in ID’s that qualified. Newer ones are easier to spot fakes but the older ones are a crap shoot. I asked my supervisor to clarify the difference between a couple ID’s & she couldn’t tell which was fake or not..
The I-9 document only asks that you believe “to the best of your knowledge” that the information is true & correct.. So, legitimate business owners hire someone thinking they’ve done everything right. Some knowingly hire people that are illegal & that is a serious issue that needs to be punished fully..
My wife used to work for another staffing company years ago & checked a soc# in their database only to realize that they had 3 different people working with the same soc..
Hiring illegials happens so often & there is nothing being done here in Cali… drives me crazy.. Way to Go Arizona!

We need to not only deport these that are in America illegally but we must close down those that employ them. Stop the welfare that they get on the backs of the taxpayers. Close up the border. Have the same immigration policies that Mexico has on their southern borders. Create alpha numeric work visa numbers so that they cannot file for tax returns. Amend the 14th amendment so that when they come here to have babies that the baby will have the nationality of the parent. Just those few things would make a difference. There is much more but we have to get control of the congress and the white house to make the changes.
