As if Obama’s plan to cut National Guard troops on the Mexican border by 75% at a time when there has been a sudden surge in border crossers wasn’t leaving the United States vulnerable enough, now a report has revealed a new insanity – lowered standards for granting immigration visas:
Higher-ups within U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services are pressuring rank-and-file officers to rubber-stamp immigrants’ visa applications, sometimes against the officers’ will, according to a Homeland Security report and internal documents….A 40-page report, drafted by the Office of Inspector General in September but not publicly released, details the immense pressure immigration service officers are under to approve visa applications quickly, sometimes while overlooking concerns about fraud, eligibility or security. One-quarter of the 254 officers surveyed said they have been pressured to approve questionable cases, sometimes “against their will.”
The report cites new Obama USCIS boss Alejandro Mayorkas having adopted a new slogan for agents processing visa applications: “GET TO YES“. Agents deemed “too tough” on visa applicants were dealt with harshly by department brass:
At least 5 agency veterans seen as being too tough on applicants were either demoted, or given the choice between a demotion or a relocation from Southern California — where their families were — to San Francisco and Nebraska, according to sources and letters of reassignment… Those kind of threats have caused lower-level employees to fall in line, sources said. “People are afraid,” said one longtime manager, who requested anonymity for fear of being fired. “Integrity only carries people so far because they’ve got to pay the rent.”
When you consider that more than 40% of the 11-20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. currently were once temporary visa holders who overstayed their legal time limit, the enormity of these new lax standards becomes clear.
Remember also the report from January 2011, which showed that DHS “loses track” of more than 200,000 visa holders illegally remaining in the country every single year, and also that at least six of the 9/11 hijackers had overstayed their visas while planning their mass murder against Americans.
So you have to ask yourself: why would the Obama Administration purposely loosen standards on granting immigration visas that are a proven national security threat?
Is this outright treason? Or just another illegal alien voter registration drive for “Obama 2012″?

Why are our “elected officials” who are supposed to be looking out for us, We The People, not doing anything about this type of thing? I am in the contruction business as a sub contractor, work is as slow as it has been in 40 years, partly because of the illegals. The last custom house I did was a $2,000,000 house, probably 65 to 75 % of the workers were illegal, because they told me. They said they was sending most of their money back to Mexico!! Most are good people but they are here against our laws, which is partly our goverments fault.

Let’s get back to the story line… seems like many do not understand voting eligibility and the underlying issue with USCIS application processing.
1. You must be a US Citizen to vote in National Elections, that is, when we vote for the President. A green card holder is not a US Citizen and you need to be one for 5 years or 3 years if married to a US citizen to be able to apply for US citizenship.
For all of you thinking this will help President Obama’s re-election, no, it will not because those getting their green cards by this fast track will not be U.S. Citizen by Nov 2012.
Stop the blame Obama retoric.
Perhaps, the story here is wrong. Maybe this is the US Citizenship Application process that is getting a fast track. The process can take 6 months. You need to go thru finger printing and various background checks. You already went thru that screening when you applied for a green card or permanent residency.
2. Maybe the fast track process is being done to clear backlogs. If that is the case, they need to hire some of those unemployed right now to help. Technology can only go so far in speeding things up but it takes a human being to analyze fraudulent applications.
The motive for this fast track is the issue we need to be asking ?
Sorry C Anthony, you have your head in the clouds. I know of a friend, from England, seeking citizenship, who found the system is fast tracking, and the citizenship can be granted now in 30 to 60 days.
The INS officer that told him, just shook his head, when he was asked why this is happening.
Oh and for anyone who may think I’m racist against Mexicans, I’m not. I despise any nationality who is in my country illegally. You have your own damn country, so live in it!
