Jan Brewer on Tarmac Face Off: Obama “Tense…Thin-Skinned” (AUDIO)

A few hours after she was bizarrely confronted by Barack Obama on the airport tarmac, Gov. Jan Brewer went on KFYI’s Mike Broomhead Show to give us the details on what happened as the President faced off with the Arizona governor – generating national headlines and derailing his post-State of the Union message.

Brewer was stunned as Obama dispensed with the pleasantries and immediately scolded Brewer for her portrayal of their frosty, July 2010 Oval Office meeting in her memoir, Scorpions for Breakfast.

Brewer said Obama was “uh, a little tense”. She said she tried to show respect but that Obama acted “thin-skinned”, and complained about how she described their earlier meeting, in which Brewer made clear how little time she was given to speak, and how Obama condescendingly lectured her about immigration reform, and did not want to hear about border violence and the costs of illegal aliens to Arizona.

Here is the full audio, well worth a listen:

Interestingly, this was not the first time that Obama acted so petulantly on an airport tarmac. After the BP oil spill, Obama gave Gov. Bobby Jindal a similar treatment, as the Weekly Standard details tonight.

Gov. Brewer, you did us proud today. You showed respect, but when offered none in return, you did not back down. Well done!

Don’t hold your breathe, he won’t help you. As soon as you wake up you’ll see for yourself. I would of stayed at home and watched some good TV.

Regardless of politics, he treated an elected governor with gross disrespect. He lacks common courtesy, and manners. His job is to protect and defend the United States, and that includes Arizona. Apparently that fact escapes him.

Obama can kiss my Caucasian Azz six ways to Sunday. I guess the thin skinned community organizer only believes in free speech when he agrees with it.

He’s treated this ballzy Governor since her re election to kiss the azzes of the Mexican Lobby and doing everything he can to keep states from enforcing immigration laws they continue to lie about day in and day out. She was just handing him back the crud he feeds her.

I have no respect for this man or the office while this criminal usurping moron in usurping i\t, a man who bows to Muslim Kings.

Gov Brewer, You did an excellent job. Don’t let him get to you. He is a coward who can’t be told what to do or can’t take critics for doing a lousy job as a President.

You are doing an excellent job protecting our country by blocking the border!! Keep up the great work, you are the best

    God Bless You Gov Brewer!!

He attempted first to have control authority, by touching her elbow, it is a phycological control stearing move, used by abusing men in public, and politicians, it is very concerning that he would feel the need to lay his hands on our governor. A gentleman never ever touches a lady with out consent. if you notice in the picture and video, he grabs her elbow, it is a bad move for any man to touch a woman with out her allowing it, she had every right to stand up for herself, and our STATE! He has nothing but jokes for the State of Arizona, and has ignored Americans,

I agree with Angela. His physical language speaks quite loudly about what kind of person he thinks he is. He needs to be restrained, detained, and impeached.

The way our representative are rolling over for him makes me think he must have some mighty powerful blackmail material on ‘em! Because SURELY, otherwise they would have stood up to him by now.

    Wouldn’t they?

    Would they?
