Arpaio Detectives Arrest 12 Illegal Aliens Smuggled into U.S. (Fought with Officers)

Despite being persecuted by the Department of Justice, despite a Federal judge’s Kafkaesque order prohibiting his office from arresting illegals “based solely on the suspicion that they’re in the country illegally”, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his staff continue to work hard every day to keep illegal aliens out of Arizona – and every other state in the union.

The frontline war in Maricopa was particularly intense over the past several days, as 20 illegal aliens have been arrested by MSCO on smuggling charges. Most recently, MCSO  Human Smuggling detectives arrested 12 illegal aliens while being smuggled through the North East Valley of Maricopa County from Mexico.

During the incident, two illegal aliens, believed to be the group’s leaders, fought with detectives, in an attempt to keep the remaining suspects from being arrested. During this struggle, the 10 remaining illegal aliens attempted to flee on foot into the desert, but were pursued and captured. As a result of the fight with deputies, one suspect was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Sheriff Arpaio said:

“Violence against my deputies apparently is on the rise. Still, that will not deter us from enforcing the law. In fact, I am planning a crime suppression operation in the near future during which I will utilize my air posse.”

All of the suspects admitted to being in the country illegally and told deputies they crossed the border near Nogales. The suspects were on their way to New York, Texas, Colorado and Minnesota. All suspects were identified as Mexican Nationals.

This incident followed the night before, when 6 more illegals were arrested, hiding in a Winstar van. All 8 were headed to California, and one of the illegal aliens was a fugitive out of Oregon wanted for burglary.

Sheriff Joe is under siege from all sides. Why? Because MCSO is too effective at stopping illegals from passing through Arizona – the gateway for entry into the U.S. – and Obama cannot afford to let that happen. Arpaio apprehends a stunning 25% of all criminal illegal aliens in the entire United States every year, keeping illegals out of Arizona cities, but also out of America’s cities as well.

Remember that out of the 20 illegals mentioned above who were apprehended over the past 4 days – all 20 were headed to states other than Arizona – where recently passed laws, such as mandatory E-Verify, employer sanctions, a ban on day laborer solicitation, ban on welfare and services for illegals, and of course S.B. 1070, have made the state inhospitable to illegal aliens.

Until every state has laws like Arizona, it is reassuring to know that Sheriff Joe is on the beat. And he is not backing down.

You really have to love Sheriff Joe. He is doing America proud. These illegals have no reason to be on US soil regardless of their intentions especially since Hezbullah (Iranian backed terrorist organization) is operating with the drug cartels in Northern Mexico. You break our laws, you will suffer the consequences.

He’s enforcing the law. The U.S. is a nation of laws. Why don’t the people at the top know this when so many citizens know it?

It was the states that created the federal government, not the other way around. It is the states and the people that are supposed to have the supreme power under our Constitutional Republic, not the federal government. Lets all push for a take back our Government to States Control with a 50 Governor meeting…push your State Governor to get it started. Wish Joe would take charge of Contacting all of them. Whatever he gets involved in American citizens end up winners.

I disagree. If we cut off the American tourism dollars spent in Mexico, perhaps we would see more effective law enforcement in Mexico.
