One would think hosts on MSNBC would be very thankful this holiday that the President they so tirelessly worked to re-elect prevailed on Election Day. But there is truly no rest for the weary, bitter leftists on Comcast’s disgraceful propaganda outlet.
MSNBC host and professional race-baiter Melissa Harris-Perry starts things off by trying to dampen our spirits by attacking the Thanksgiving story:
“The kindergarten story that you learned about grateful Pilgrims and happy Indians is not even close to the historic reality of how European settlers brought violence, disease and land theft to the indigenous peoples who were already in this land long before it was discovered.”
Perry then blasted the Macy’s parade for its relationship with the “racist” Donald Trump, and even tries to depress viewers enjoying Thanksgiving football games by showing photos of injured players and bemoaning head injuries.
Finally, to make sure you do not even enjoy your meal, Perry reminds you that “millions of poor families in this country” regularly go hungry – while conveniently not taking her hero Obama to task for the record number of Americans using food stamps this year to buy their holiday meals.
Perry went on to say that we should still enjoy our holiday while we “embrace” the ”agony and loss and injustice that under-girds our history.” Groan!

Every family’s got one…that hardcore conservative who makes every Thanksgiving get-together a nightmare by sounding off, unprompted, on how liberals are ruining this country with their taxing and their spending and their gay-marrying, and how back in my day blah blah blah.
Usually you just keep your head down and stare into your turkey and try not to make eye contact with anyone. Then the next morning in the shower you remember what you should have said in response.
But this year’s going to be different. Why? Because here at MSNBC, we’ve anticipated crazy Uncle Gary’s top talking points, and provided you with the concise, factual, snappy rebuttals you need to finally shut him up once and for all.
So America has a crisis: families filled with Obama fans (despite him winning a mere 50.6% of the national vote) who would otherwise be enjoying Thanksgiving except for a single conservative (and obvious old white male, from the “Uncle Gary” and “in my my day” references) who ruins it all by “sounding off”. And since those folks apparently cannot think for themselves, MSNBC helpfully provides Democrat propaganda points for like-minded liberals to “shut him up”.
Clearly the bitter left-wingers at MS-LSD (as radio host Mark Levin calls them) are never thankful about much of anything.
